PASK EXHIBITIONS IN 2024

A Candlestick for the Christmas Table

(November 30, 2023 – February 11, 2024)

An exhibition of candlesticks designed and produced by students of secondary glass schools from the Czech Republic and Germany. A new original design for traditional holidays.

Regarding the long history of the ink pot

(February 14– April 21, 2024):

An exhibition dedicated to a once-historical artefact, the ink pot, that used to be essential; since the invention of the fountain pen, it has been heading into oblivion. Certainly, these are primarily glass ink pots in PASK’S conception.

The Subtle Line of Rococo

(April 24–June 4, 2024)
This exhibition, prepared in cooperation with the Klatovy Catacombs as an accompanying programme of the Baroque Jesuits of Klatovy, is dedicated to the late Baroque - Rococo style. The shapes and cut, engraved, or painted decors of Rococo glass from the period between 1720 and 1790 are characterised by elegance and delicacy of design.

Young Glass from Vysočina

(June 7–September 22, 2024)
The summer exhibition will present another facet of works by the youngest generation of glass artists; this time it is the students of the Academy of Arts and Crafts Academy Světlá nad Sázavou who will be bringing their works to Klatovy.

Art Nouveau Glass from the region of Teplice

(September 26, 2024 – Februar 17, 2025)

A number of glassworks in the Teplice region produced exceptionally high-quality Art Nouveau glass, mainly hot shaped and decorated glass with iridescent surfaces, in the period around 1900. Its immediate comparison with the production of the Loetz company in the PASK permanent exhibition is undeniably interesting.
