PASK EXHIBITIONS IN 2025

Art Nouveau Glass from the region of Teplice

(September 26, 2024 – February 17, 2025)

A number of glassworks in the Teplice region produced exceptionally high-quality Art Nouveau glass, mainly hot shaped and decorated glass with iridescent surfaces, in the period around 1900. Its immediate comparison with the production of the Loetz company in the PASK permanent exhibition is undeniably interesting.

Šumava Glass in the Maelstrom of Wartime /1938-1946

(March 3 –May 28, 2025)

The period around the Second World War was extremely turbulent for the Sumava glass industry, with political, cultural, and economic changes affecting it in a matter of a few years and seemingly overturning it several times.

The program has been organized as a part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Klatovy.

NOVÝ.GLASS.BOR

(May 31 – September 7, 2025)

Today's Post-Secondary Vocational School of Glass is the second oldest glass school in the Czech Republic. It was founded in 1870. In the works of its apprentices and students, the traditions of Nový Bor glassmaking intersect with the latest artistic trends, as well as an emphasis on technical quality with rich inventiveness.

Loetz – the Most Beautiful of New Acquisitions

(September 10 – October 28, 2025)

Around 200 new artifacts have been added to the PASK collection of Lötz glass in recent years. Before being included in the permanent exhibition, we would like to give the best of them the opportunity to be displayed as solitaires.

Tango Glass – Trapped between the Layers

(October 31, 2025 – February 8, 2026)

The sharply colored, almost aggressive contrasts of glass inspired by the clothes of the lively South American tango dancers carry a specific charge of positive energy that will brighten up the short winter days. The exhibition has been realized in collaboration with the Waldmuseum in Zwiesel, Bavaria.
